Dumba rates as a top pair scoring defenseman like Phaneuf ?
Something is not right with that statement. Phaneuf in the same sentence as 'top pair' is just wrong. Also considering this kid could be a franchise defenseman you really could have chosen a better comparison. - Pairo11
Remember when the world was in love with the 20 goal massive hitting 60 point Dion? That's about what Dumba can be but with better speed, a less erratic shot and less size. |

why is Rielly's potential only 2-3 D-man?? Karlsson won the Norris, is he a 2-3 guy? I think not. As for the beer thing.. Id like to see a list of the most popular beer for each province.. |

Play style. He plays a very similar game with similar strengths and weaknesses. |

okay,, we can't predict the future, and im not holding you to that, but do you not think he has potential to be a bona fide #1 guy? Im not a Rielly expert and i plan on watching him when he comes to red deer. i guess what im saying is does he have the potential to be a Doughty, Letang, or Keith? |

He doesn't have anything close to the physicality of Letang or Doughty. Keith is a closer thing though Rielly isn't anywhere close to as good in his own end (atm of course). There's always a chance. |

Rattie played almost as well when Sven was gone so I don't think overrated is really a theme with him. The entire team could be questioned like that considering they are such a powerhouse if you wanted to, same as guys of the Sea Dogs. If they were kept together at the NHL level that would be nuts, they play off each other so well. - AdamFrench
as much as I would like to see if Rattie/Baert could carry that to the NHL. Giving up Jbo for Rattie and a pick isn't worth it. A play now player would have to come back that filled a hole immediately (like stewart or Polak) instead of a pick. |
