Uh... I may have hit a ! while on my iPhone. This site is tough to manage on the touch screen.

Don't worry. !'s will only result in action in the case of offensive posts, and we don't have that kind of poster base here on the Flyers board.

You don't drive a pickup truck (my inference)?

I drive a Prius and people flowers spring up in my wake as I make the planet a better place for your children and your children's children.

Of course I offset all of that by consuming mass quantities of beer.

I do recycling the aluminum and glass.

This weekend marks the 40th anniversary of the 1972 Summit Series. For those who have only read about -- but never seen -- the incident in which Clarke deliberately fractured Valeri Kharlamov's ankle here it is.

Less known is this incident in a 1972 exhibition game between Canada and Czechoslovakia, in which Clarke butt-ended Czech star Frantisek Posposil in the face in retaliation for an earlier slash.

Yes, Clarkie could certainly get pretty vicious and ruthless out there!

I bought the series several years ago having never seen a game but hearing and reading about it. I was disappointed Stan Mikita didn't play more. I don't know why. Tony O was brilliant when he played. When I was a kid I was a Hawks fan since the only hockey I got to see was on Saturday afternoon and they never showed the Flyers. I didn't know they existed until they won the Cup.

I don't see anything to show that he was vicious.

Marrying a Troll doll to Crims peepers I would have to say is a stroke of genius even if it makes you appear borderline unhinged for conceiving it.

Heres a question.. with Bogosian now out for 4-6 months after having surgery on his wrist... Is it possible for him to be traded. If so, do you think the Flyers should try to move on him now at a little bit cheaper cost?

I'm a born-again Christian who likes tabletop role playing games, video games, the Philadelphia Flyers, GIF's, cats, white socks, clean humor, a crepe-load of near-cusses, all of the music of U2, and Keith Primeau. Plenty there to scare/annoy anybody.

I wonder if he would come cheaper... He would be just another awesome asset to have.

Schenn and Bogo to go with G, Couts, Schenn and the rest of the young guys on O...

I don't think it is possible for him to be traded.

We really are running out of assets to move, other than Read and some picks. JMO though.
