i dont get why everyone is such a Snow Hater.

He has rebuilt our farm system. Traded away all the milbury garbage with exception of DP who is untradeable.

Snow signs Tavares, KO, Grabner to better deals than most other players are getting way more.

Hamonic was great find. As as Matt Martin, Donovan, Ullstrom and Poulin all from the Bailey draft.
Strome, Nino, Kabonov, Petrov and Cizakis all could impact players in NHL in few years.

Moulson, Grabner and Streit were all excellent finds. as was PA. Good discipline for not overpaying PA, whose stats will drop as did jason blakes.

The same year we got Bailey. the target guys by all fans on this Message board was Filatov or Schenn. It was not Eberle, karlson or Myers as some of you love to suggest now.

for reasons you wont understand (accept that), im not sure well ever really be able to evaluate garths job as a GM bc he isnt given the same resources just about every other GM has-- having said that, if he is hired for a job he is underqualified for, its not his responsibility to say "fire me" its the hiring person who should be held accountable. like i said before, if you got in a car and expected it to fly like an airplane, i wouldnt blame the car for being unable to fly, id blame you for being ignorant!!!!

Wow this awesome my take is this. GArth is a great AHL GM not an NHL GM. Wang put him in place cause he knew he would keep his mouth shut and do whatever Wang told him. That is why GArth has job security. Every year he tries and fails. LAst year it was Ehroff. Offered him a huge contract Ehroff laughed and then Garth came back with well I tried and gave up and signed the guys that he really wanted to sign his buddies. The year he was waiting on Ryan Smyth to sign here and Smyth basically was like no way again he tried and then he gave up for the rest of the free agency. This year he trades for Visnovsky (and he knew the whole situation with the contract you hav to when you trade) again he can say he tried and then do nothing. It is the same story and every other normal NHL team would have fired him already but since he is Wangs puppet he will be here until the end of time.

He has built up the farm system good for him. MAybe he should be a scout for the team but no way should he be a GM. If he gets fired I bet anything in this world no one else will hire him. He will just go off into a hockey oblivion and show up on the pre game show once in a while to yack it up with Butch

4) do you know if he was happy with the coach?
5) do you know if liked playing at the coliseum?
6) do you know if the uncertainty of the future of the islanders effected his decision?
7) do you know BOTH the islanders and pap would have to agree to signing a new deal?
8) do you know if he was happy paying crazy taxes on LI?
9) do you know if the LI water gave him awful gas?
10) do you know if wang wanted to spend $16M on a player like pap?
