Value is all but perception and how badly the other party needs what you are selling. Before Burkie doles out much value or the future for Luongo's contract, you can best bet he is gonna go with the two kids in net or find himself a much better trading partner.

What happened to the old Burke who use to have tenacity? Don't blame it on the tragic unfortunate death of his son. When Burke took over the Leafs in 2008 he took a very passive approach to a team that should have been blown up with no mercy. I expected Burke to take over & teke a hatchet to an underachieving lousy team. Instead he sat back passively & did nothing.
