My proposal to update/fix the draft and lotter system is.....


Its a 7 tier lottery system


Starting with the bottom 5 teams (top finishers) in the draft.


Postitions 30-26 enter a 5 team draft for the 26th postition, with the 26th team having the best odds(most balls in the roller) to see who gets the 26th spot.

Then teams 26-21 enter an identical 5 lottery, with top prize being 21st place.

This continues right down the line until first is determined.

Benefits,

-Gives every team a shot at the #1 pick, ableit slim, a shot.
-Will make a somewhat exciting tv program.
-Lets someone besides the Oilers hopefully pick first
