1) Just a month from training camp, and the hard questions haven't had to be answered. Does Scott Gomez need to be dealt with before a new CBA is in place?

Could the Canadiens even be considering having Gomez at training camp?

- I'm afraid they will have Gomez at training camp.

2) What are reasonable expectations for Brian Gionta this season? Can he rebound from this brutal injury and put up his best season as a Canadien?

- 25 goals

4) If Cole took a step back to where his career average is (around 25 goals) would anyone really be disappointed?

- No, not if he brings leadership and plays hard every night

8) Gomez is one problem. Kaberle is the other. What are the Canadiens going to do with him?

- They will keep him until kids (Beaulieu, Tinordi) are ready to replace him. So he's here for at least one year.

9) If you had to pick a kid off the farm that you believe is ready to make the jump, who is it?

- Gallagher showed good stuff last year, but they already have 13 forwards with NHL contracts! Unless Gomez is on his way out... A year in Hamilton could not hurt. That is true for Gallager, and Gomez too!

revenues have grown by over 50% since the last lockout. the current CBA is obsolete in today's NHL. there's no reason for owners to still be paying out 57% of their revenues. and owners hand that money out because they have to in order to remain competitive. not doing so would be called collusion, and it's illegal.

not saying im on the owners side but the players are by no means victims.

I think it's only fair to tell you, that I am involved in serious negotiations to trade you, nay and QP to the night shift for tee-dot. I then have him going to Augello's thread in exchange for ilive4theleafs. I think he'd fit in here over time.
