it is so hard to be excited about the canadiens right now. yes, there are some pieces in place but between gionta, markov, bourque and the collection of 3rd and 4th liners, every single element will have to fall perfectly into place for them to have a hope of making the playoffs.

bergevin has been ok so far. signing rfa's was really a no brainer. adding prust and armstrong and resigning moen was alright, nothing more. the deficiencies on offense are still glaring.

all in all, the canadiens will struggle and likely be a fairly boring team.



on another note, engels, i give you credit for continuing to blog the best you can. you provide your followers with new threads to spend 2 pages talking about before they all go on their merry old ways of pure drivel for 200 pages after.

Sad but true. Our D is very bad. I like both Gorges and Subban but after them, it's full of question marks. Our offense will once again rely on one line. Likely another year without quality wingers for Pleks.
