They don't have any expenses other then spending money, so how much do they need?

Their parents/billets probably give them an allowance on top of that.

How much allowance would you give to your kids when they are 15-18?

Fact is, they pay huge money to "russian stars" while the local boys play for peanuts. And don't tell me it's because they think "it's good for the league". It's because they have the money to do it and because they run their development team, as a business.

what's min. wage now adays? 10 bucks?

So 10 bucks an hour for say 10-12 hours a week, should cover it.

See, there's a difference between $120 per month and $500.

It's being said that some get an "incentive" as high as $150K

That's a lot of money if you ask me.

Well, rich teams get a competitive advantage and the league turns a blind eye to the situation.

They'd be dumb not to do it.

It's not how I would run the league, but if I was a private owner?

Let the schools run the league. Play less games.

I'm pretty sure the "stars" get more incentive then 30-40$ a week. I doubt Crosby only got payed that much in Rimouski.

For sure. There are most likely some "locals" that get that kind of money.

I think there is some miscommunication about the 100K plus for Euros, (i'm going to go Ek on you here) from what i heard from a friend that has ties to The MJ Warriors. Junior teams are paid incentives in the 100k range to develop Euro players from the country they are coming from.

But the team is only allowed to pay the player living expenses. Unless it's under the table, which all teams do to some extent, but under the table player incentives happens with all players not just imports.
