We all talk smack but the lames suck routine gets old real quick and you won't win any fans even with the Oilers guys. hall is by no means shy. he tenacious, and growing. but hes no wrecking ball that goes through defencemen. at least not yet anyway.

milan lucic is a power forward, jaimie benn, david backes, shane doan etc.

hall does not fit this mold as of yet.

I suspect Eberle will get one season less in term, so that Management doesn't have to negotiate both contracts at the same time. If they wanted to continue to play together, it wouldn't give them the opportunity to leave (for NYR ) at the same time. I would think that the dollars would be the same, but if i were Eberle i would negotiate a dollar more just to have bragging rights. 6,000,001.00

but generally speaking, he uses his blinding speed to go around guys. none of the dudes i mentioned (who happen to be the true definition of power forward) play the same style as hall.

just kinda seems like every guy whos got a little size and skill is labeled a power forward these days.
its all just semantics, but IMO, a power forward is generally a big ass winger, who uses his body more than his skating, as generally speaking they arent the fastest or most highly skilled players around.
they go through dmen, and look for the hit before the puck. most of em throw too.
