If Ennis is offered he will and that's who they want. - SABRES 89
agreed... Anaheim doesn't think they can resign Getzlaf.. so they are gonna shift money towards Perry.. and hope to trade Ryan for a Center..
I don't get why Ennis would be that choice but hopefully it is...
I did hear that Anaheim and Colorado have talked about Ryan for Stastny.. how true it is I don't know. |

Darcy won't move on Ryan and that's who he should be going after but, he will give 7 mill a yr to a 36 yr old that won't bring much to this team at all. - SABRES 89
it really grinds your gears doesn't it?
I Doan't know what Darcy has been smoking this off-season |

His name was thrown out originally, but it was made to seem "worse" than it was by a bunch of fake twitter accounts. Ryan's not requesting a trade. He simply said, if you want to trade me, please do it already and stop riding me along. There's a difference. - buffalofan19
Fair enough. |

First of all I don't deal with twitter or any other fake bulls$$t sources, who I got this from is legit within the Sabres and the NHL. You want to believe me fine if not that is fine also I have no problem with that. |

Ennis, Pysyk, and a 2nd rounder for Ryan.
Stafford, Brennan/Sekera, and Adam for Stastny and a 3rd.
I am still holding out hope...

I don't like Gagner... uh uh.. not one bit...
I don't see him as a good enough player to change in Buffalo.
I for some reason though.. through all of that twitter bullpoop.... I actually believe that Gagner could be coming to Buffalo soon. |

I'll believe the Gagner stuff if and when I see it, and in my opinion I don't see it. |

Something doesn't hold water if Anaheim also demanded Couturier from Philly. The two deals aren't even close. |

Sabres Front Office is really putting himself out there.....he is 100% sure that Gagner will be on the Sabres roster come opening night. Its crazy how sure of himself he is. I am VERY skeptical though.......Homer has debunked the rumor that the Sabres were talking to the Oil a while ago. |

What do you think of Philly supposedly asking about Sekera and then the rumor that Buffalo was asking too much for him then??
I would trade Sekera+ for Read in a heartbeat. |

And that is exactly what it is.. I have heard of people saying they have all the right sources blah blah blah... but somethign about Sabres Front is really showing confidence...
I am probably just nieve because not a whole lot usually happens this late in the summer and with CBA problems to boot. |

I don't believe that and IMO the Flyers should get Colliochivo, I spelled his name wrong |

Pronger's contract was fine IMO. He was playing at a high level and was showing very little signs of slowing down. His skating was never fast, he has always relied on great gap control and anticipation (along with arguably the most tenacious style of play). You cant plan for concussions. - Gunner Staal
Unless you give the most concussion prone player a ten year 8.7 per contract. |

Mark my words, if Gagner comes to Buffalo, his career will follow the EXACT footsteps of our old friend fragile Tim. A solution, he ain't.
Also, I hope the 5 years $40 million from Vancouver is a serious offer, so we can stop worrying about being his best offer. As stupid as the numbers on that deal were, Doan was even stupider for turning it down for so long. Hopefully he's finally out of Darcy's plan. |

I'd agree, unless that player is Crosby. You have to lock up Crosby regardless. It would suck for the Pens if he got hurt, but if he doesn't, they have the best player in the league for potentially the rest of his career. |

I don't like him..... He is a consistent 40+ point scorer but never 50+. He is making 3.2M already and this is the only year on that deal. It just has trouble written all over it. As far as fragile.. yea.. he misses 10-15 games per year it looks like. |

He also had an 8 point game this year, so minus that game, his point total was a measly 39 this year. He'd also be our 'experienced' center over Hodgson and Ennis (presumably, based on years in the league). I'd rather have Derek Roy and his problems. |

I cannot disagree.... atleast Roy proved that he can put up 80+ pts.
I don't see Ennis or gagner ever breaking 60ish points..
Hodgson I can see as a 70pt center. |

If it only involved us giving up Sekera/Leo and a pick I am totally fine with bringing in Gagner.
We need scoring and skill on this team, and having him as our third line center is not too shabby (assuming that Ennis is resigned)

Leo and Sekera would be a 5.75 cap dump |
