agreed... Anaheim doesn't think they can resign Getzlaf.. so they are gonna shift money towards Perry.. and hope to trade Ryan for a Center..

I did hear that Anaheim and Colorado have talked about Ryan for Stastny.. how true it is I don't know.

Darcy won't move on Ryan and that's who he should be going after but, he will give 7 mill a yr to a 36 yr old that won't bring much to this team at all.

Didn't hear much about Stastny and as far as Gagne goes, why is it only on Tuesday's or Wednesday's we hear he might be traded? what only certain days of the week he can get moved to Buffalo? all that twitter crap is bulls%%t.

I don't see him as a good enough player to change in Buffalo.

And that is exactly what it is.. I have heard of people saying they have all the right sources blah blah blah... but somethign about Sabres Front is really showing confidence...

I am probably just nieve because not a whole lot usually happens this late in the summer and with CBA problems to boot.

Pronger's contract was fine IMO. He was playing at a high level and was showing very little signs of slowing down. His skating was never fast, he has always relied on great gap control and anticipation (along with arguably the most tenacious style of play). You cant plan for concussions.

I'd agree, unless that player is Crosby. You have to lock up Crosby regardless. It would suck for the Pens if he got hurt, but if he doesn't, they have the best player in the league for potentially the rest of his career.

I don't like him..... He is a consistent 40+ point scorer but never 50+. He is making 3.2M already and this is the only year on that deal. It just has trouble written all over it. As far as fragile.. yea.. he misses 10-15 games per year it looks like.

I cannot disagree.... atleast Roy proved that he can put up 80+ pts.

I don't see Ennis or gagner ever breaking 60ish points..

Hodgson I can see as a 70pt center.

If it only involved us giving up Sekera/Leo and a pick I am totally fine with bringing in Gagner.

We need scoring and skill on this team, and having him as our third line center is not too shabby (assuming that Ennis is resigned)
