I wish we ACTUALLY knew what the hold up was in this situation....

Maybe the Sabres only want a 2-3 year deal so therefore Ennis is demanding 4+M for those years because he wants a longer deal...

If it was a 4 year deal or so then maybe Ennis would agree to something in the neighborhood of 3M per year...

It sounds like October is going to be the deadline for anything to happen.

The difference is Roberts isn't jumping to Kadri's defense when people talk bad about him. He does that for Hodgson. Obviously the relationship between Hodgson and Roberts is different.

That does not, however, mean that Hodgson is going to pan out the way we all hope. But, we can dream.
