I really hate kane ..... i dont want to see him come here! I currently play against kane or did play against him in summer hockey this summer. His team won the championship my team lost.

Well in NHL 12 i hated playing as him because he is softer than cat sh1t on a hot summer day.. so we are really best friends in real life and I am a pizza box with extra toppings inside.
*i tried to say something as pointless as ur comment... Hopefully i succeeded* |

Take this for what's it's worth:
I think I've mentioned on here that I do have a source within the organization. I don't flaunt it, nor will I ever act like I know more than the rest of you because of it. However, with that being said, here is what I have heard, as recently as yesterday:
The Miller and Stafford for Kane and Crawford deal is very much in play. There would be draft picks involved, but I didn't get the specifics on those. I don't know any more than that, but I've been assured that this isn't bullcr@p, that it's been very much discussed.
Opinion? I, personally, hate this deal. Kane is another "hockey frat boy", ala Derek Roy. I have ZERO confidence that this guy will ever do the right things, and make the right decisions. Talented? Hell, yes. Off-ice decision making? Poor.
I think Miller is going to have something to prove this year, too, and dealing him now, IMO, is a mistake.
Thoughts?
To the person that said this ........ any info on Gagner (if there is any) or even bobby ryan - buffalofan1027
That was me.
No. Heard nothing on those two fronts. That doesn't mean there's nothing there, just didn't hear it. |

it does say Patrick Kane and his brother Cullen Kane played on a team for the championship last Tuesday night.
EDIT: and Matt Bradley... two NHLers... that seems fair. |

He's a brat, but I wouldn't mind him on the team, but not for Stafford & Miller. Stafford alone is too much. |

I would agree with this.... I wouldn't mind seeing him on Buffalo... but not at the cost of Stafford AND Miller...
Buf Gets: Kane, Hjalmarsson, Hayes, and Crawford
Chi Gets: Stafford, Miller, Tropp and Sekera
Now I think we have parameters of a good deal. |

I'm sure a lot of players would play in the KHL if there's a lockout. |

Not sure about that...russian players probably, but if I were an NHLer, I'd be more interested in playing in the SEL (Sweden), SM-Liiga (Finland) or even the Swiss A |

why not? i'd rather them play against men in the KHL than just 'train' all year. - MartysBetter88
That's fine. As long as they come back.
I'd be afraid that if Grigs goes over there, he may never come back. |

I would take both trades....
I have no clue who would take Stafford's winger spot on the 2nd line though besides Leino... Unless Grigorenko and/or Girgensons were to make the team we would have no depth. |

Well, there are a lot of Russian players in the league. So...
But I wouldn't be surprised to see a good amount of non-Russians go, too. I'm sure most would go to western Europe, but the KHL tends to pay pretty well (if the paychecks actually arrive), so we would see a few guys in Putin-ville.

Is scoring the GWG of the Stanley Cup Finals "doing the right thing"? Because I'm sure Buffalo or other teams could use something like that. |

I think the main objective is to actually play games in a competitive environment and staying in shape...the pay check comes in second.
That being said, I'd be surprised if the lock-out drags on long enough and to the point the players feel the need to leave to play in European leagues. I think the whole thing could be resolved for early November. |
