Was told tongiht that Buffalo''s four year, 30 million dollar offer to Shane Doan is legit. Coyotes only want to go two years for now.

Has he had anything right yet? Did he have info on the Ott/Roy trade? Or did he pop up after that trade? - jochfr
He didn't have the account until after the Roy/Ott trade but he did tell me he knew that Goose would be gone at the deadline for sure, the Roy/Ott deal had been on the table since the deadline, knew the Coho/Kassian trade from his source before it happened so we shall see if he hits this Gagner move. |

Shane Doan for 7.5 million. lol. Darcy has 3 Billion dollars to work with and he has to over pay average guys to come here. Replace the GM and Coach and bring in guys who can get the job done. |

Yeah ever since Homer was on and gave us hints basically telling us that offer was from us, I was confident that was our offer to Doan. |

I hate to break it to you, but Buffalo isn't exactly the type of city a lot of guys want to play in. That means you have to pay more to entice them. It's just how it works. Now don't get me wrong, a lot of guys love it here after they come and play and experience the city, but it takes a while for them to realize that in the first place. |

Won't matter who the GM is, we will have to overpay for any big name player until we are seen as one of the big guys in five or so years. |

That is exactly right, once they play here and live here they give Buffalo a lot more credit and respect. |

This is where a lot of players make their home even after their career. It doesn't take long, but they don't want to leave afterwards.
Biron still lives here in the offseason. Bowman lives here. Rob Ray never left. Peca made this his home. McKee is another one. Rick Martin made Buffalo his home as well. The list goes on and on. I know Paille lives here in the offseason as well. His wife told me when I took care of her where I worked at the time. They already had a house here and loved the city so she said they'd be back during the summers. |

Not trying to be a Richard but anyone could have said this stuff after the fact. If Gagner/Ryan doesn't happen its obvious he is a fake and everyone posting his stuff looks like a fool. I guess we will see. |
