I put my name on the waiting list for Leafs seasons tickets in 2008 and was told at the time, the waiting list was anywhere from 15-20 years.

Well the demand is not what it used to be........

I received a phone call on this past Friday, I was advised that a pair of greens became available.

Yes. He's always been a good player he's had a lot of bad luck with injuries. Hopefully he can stay healthy.

Burke has been the most vocal on the changing of the rules, which will abolish front loaded long term contracts. Why would he change now?

Can't picture him signing anyone for more than 5 or 6 years.

i hope not, i think the 5 year deals keeps a player honest, if they are worth it, you sign em another 5 years after...simple as that.

He hasn't showed anywhere near the complete game or consistency Hartnell has shown up to this point, regardless of age.
With that said, I'd like to see a 2-3 year extension. Lupul says he loves it in Toronto and wants to stay a leaf, and god knows we need all the talent we can get.

Season will only be 20 games?
