the ratings only marginally matter. in 12 in the EASHL my offensive defenseman was a 84 overall & was a million times better than the 91 overall defensive defenseman i created.

Fortunately they are dynamic, because we are rated lower than I think we will pan out. During the season I noticed they update about every 2 weeks to once a month.

I understand the miller hate, to a degree, but those other goalies have certainly had much better teams in front of them, especially defensively.

I always thought Luongo was unfairly rated too high in NHL games. Talk about an amazing teamin front of him.

Ratings are horrible this year, Erik karlsson won he Norris but isn't a top 5 defenseman, ovechikin is a 93 after having a ba year and malkin and stamkos are 91 which is ridiculous since there both top 3 while datysuk is a 95 and miller isn't even a top 5 goalie let alone number one

Fortunately its more about how you play rather tha who you play with. Unless you use Detroit, then all bets are off.

Miller has certainly been a top five goalie in the past five years. Maybe not number one, but certainly top five.

Id have ovechkin closer to Malkin/stamkos but its not far off.

Ratings are always off. Look gerbe is 1 point worse than Ennis, comon. Just like last year you will see people way over valued and way under valued. Remeber you could trade Roy last year for pretty much anyone good.

They said they've changed the rating process from how good they are at playing their role to actual skill level.

Example: Kaleta was an 80 cause he's a good enforcer

I think Ennis got ranked lower cause he's younger and not as big. I think they undershot it though; Leino could have a bounce back year, sometimes players don't react to a new team the way you project them to, but I see Leino as a 15-20 goal, 50 point guy. I say Ennis should be about 79-80
