IF Vanek wasn't offer sheeted You would have a better argument. I get your point, but he still has the most points and goals as a Sabre on this roster.

That is essentially what Sam Gagner is as well.. which a lot of people are excited about the potential of this trade with EDM.

I think Stafford is more consistent than Gagner.

I don't get how someone can complain about a player getting 5 hat tricks thats like saying.. sure Stamkos scored 60 goals but only 37 assists makes him a selfish player to his linemates.

Ganger has never really played top line minutes like stafford, don't get me wrong I don't think Ganger is incredible I just believe he has more potential then people give him. With 3rd line minutes (and the odd 2nd line) he's put up 40+ points in every one of his season. You can't deny that the potential is there. Stafford is 4 years older then him and as put up relatively the same numbers.

And yes it's great that he scores in bunches but if you watched the year he got those 5 hat-tricks a couple of them came in blowout games when they won buy like 5 goals, so what would you rather have a guy that scores 20 times a season but does it in a bunch of different games giving the team a chance to win on any given night or someone that is puts up half his goals for the year in a few blowout games

A goal is a goal to me... I think Ennis>Gagner for multiple reasons..

I can't htink of one team in the NHL that has great depth wings but sh1tty centers and still wins frequently.

Never said ennis wasn't better then ganger, I totally agree with ennis is better then him. I'm saying I see more potential in ganger then stafford, and yeah a goals a goal but i rather see these goals come in games where it's needed not in blowout, it could change a couple losses to wins last year and playoff hockey could have been possible.

And c'mon man every sabres fans knows the reason we win so frequently is because we have miller between the pipes

About that, idk what all the fuss is about. EA said they're ratings are on skill of the position in general. Honestly guys like Lundqvist aren't that amazing. He's not very athletic, and gets away with it by parking his big frame on the goal line. Not to mention he has an entire squad blocking shots with their faces every game. Miller's like a toothpick, has crazy agility, and really doesn't have too much D support. That being said I think Quick should be the best. He's basically made a new style of goaltending.

same here, I use twitter a lot for horse racing mostly. Theres some good college football and baseball which is typically the rest. IF you like baseball Jim Bowden is good to follow

I wonder if it has to do with that I put the shot aim as Automatic.. but online I think it is set at Manual and you can't change it..

I NEVER aim the puck.. i just take my shots.. it could be a wide open net from a cross the crease pass and sometimes my guy will shoot it right at the body of the goalie on the other side of the crease.

IM a little bit of the throw back nhl 96 player who just tries one timers all the time. Most of my games are low scoring. Gets a little frustrating when you play a kids who can gangle though youro whole team and score at ease.

Yea the one timers that you could do in the old games are different now.. I don't use the standard controllers.. i switch them so that like Square is a wrister.. Circle is a slapper.. the only way you can do a one time is to actually time it up with the back swing of a slap shot using the Right analog stick.

The HSers from Canada that do nothing but that game all summer.. .yea I know them...

In my whole time of NHL 12.. I think I have played like 50 games.. . there are people on there with like 5000 games played..

Vanek didn't ask for his compensation, he accepted it.

Who cares about Stastnys numbers he isn't coming here, nor has he had a significant impact on the Sabres.

Vaneks career mirrors such players as Gaborik, Perry, Getzlaf, Semin, Staal, Carter.....Not too bad. OF course most of those guys have a Cup. So maybe Vaneks team has been holding him back.
