The funny part is he put Fleury on the team.
Not to mention Bergeron and Mike Richards. - Scooby_Doo
I have no problem with Mike Richards on the team.
He'll be your #1 pk'er, he's a dynamite 2-way forward, and can step up his offensive game when asked - like in the 2012 Olympics. |

PK Subban? you have to be kidding , this guy coughs up the puck way to much. I do not know why this guy is so overrated? what has he done? The numbers dont lie 12 G and 32 A not many D in the league with those type of numbers. just for giggles what was PK numbers ? - Jarvito1967
14 goals his rookie year.
36 points last year.
about +19 better than Phaneuf last year.
also 5 years younger.
but he's not in Phaneuf's class. |

too many people forget that they actually have to check and play defense at the Olympics. Can't just run 4 scoring lines.
sure you ask guys to take different roles, but John Tavares is not going to be a better shutdown center than Mike Richards. Ever.
Same goes for the D - saw about 3 different lineups posted that couldn't defend to save their asses if Weber wasn't on the ice.unless the plan is for Weber to play 53 minutes a game |

Weber, Keith, Doughty, Pietro, Girardi, Staal,Seabrook. Seabrook is the wild car here. There are maybe a few other guys who can be there over him. Canada is loaded with Rightys. - poisondhearts37
Phaneuf is a left, but had to play right alot. \not to mention 22-25 mintes a game against all the other teams best forwards, play the PP, PK, 12 goals, 40 pts. and answer all the dumb media questions. He may not be on the team, but will get consideration. He gets s*it on alot because he is in everyones face every shift, so it makes him unpopular with fellow NHLPA "brothers".
Phaneuf is a good hockey player and Calgary misses him. |

It has nothing to do with bias.
I ran PK's attributes through the Cray Supercomputer Sucktrometer.
It gave readings of 28.657.
Yeah, that high. |
