Last time I went to a bar in Guelph and was wearing a Canucks hat, I had a bartender tell me that my BC drivers licence and BCID weren't good enough and required a 3rd piece of photo ID. Went back less than a week later, without the Canucks gear this time, same guy, but this time he served me, without asking for ID—there is some serious dislike for Canucks fans in TO and the surrounding areas.

Signing Doan for 4 years makes even less sense. If Doan signs here for that kind of term at the rumored cap hit prior to a lockout, Gillis should be fired on the spot.
