I didn't say it was the exact same. Remember the year before that though? They had 2 very good goalies. Just like The Kings did this year. Just like the Islanders dynasty did, just like the Oilers dynasty did. DIfferent times, point being it never hurts to have depth.

It definitely doesn't, but when your starter gets passed on the depth chart by a younger guy that hasn'ty necessarily proven to be the #1 guy, then the starter should be a little upset, hence Lu saying he should move on...
He is not happy that Schneider is the #1.
If Lu was still the #1, and Schneider didn't get the big raise then we wouldn't even be having this conversation.
Multiple Canuck fans have said Lu is the 3rd best player on the team, yet you want to trade him? If Lu is 3rd best, how is he getting passed over by someone who isn't as good?

Only suggesting that he filled a need for the Canucks. I also mentioned Bozak, who would obviously be preferable... Just saying that if you think about it from the other team's perspective then it is much easier to find common ground.

14 year old poster: Hockey Insider just tweeted that MLSEL and Orca Bay are working on the most creative deal in history: Luongo to the Leafs, and the Raptors send their next two 1st round picks to the Vancouver Grizzlies!!!!

This would be an awesome deal for both teams!!!!

Luongo and Schnieder are both great goalies in my opinion. Like I said, to me it seems like a win/win situation. The Canucks will either play next season with 2 great goalies or one of them will get traded for another piece that will help. If they trade Luongo, I would understand why. He is older and has a higher cap hit. If they trade Schneider I would also understand. He's younger and they could probably get more for him.
