But what does who played on the 1st line for the USA Oly team prove? Except to pump kesler's tires becasue he is a Canuck.

I think the issue is that Van will not get Backes from StL becasue StL will ask for more than Van is willing to trade. It is not that they are not close in comparison but Backes is just that important to that team.

Where did Weber come from? I didn't here anyone say he wanted to play here. Also, Schultz is a complete moron for signing in Deadmonton. The city sucks and he;d develop wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better in the Canucks organization and be primed for his next contract. Terrible desicion. Not to mention the possibility of a cup. It's funny that somebody with that kind of leverage could make that bad of a decision.

Dude, We're from the west. We actually watch a lot of NHL hockey...I'm not saying we know more about the "Game" but we know more about the NHL because we watch the games that start at 4 here, I watched probably 25 Leafs games last year and every time I'd cheer for the other team and every time id be flabbergasted in the way Kessel and Lupul back check. Terrible defensively. Brutal.
