No, the curve would gradually(most cases) rise, then plateau for awhile. You're graph rose gradually, plateaued (one year) and then declined. there was ZERO consistency.

Is this a nicer image for you?


Wayne Gretzky had five of his 22 years at his peak, which is skewed to the left (his early career), but the shape of the curve remains the same. He also had a high of 92 and a low of 9 (70 games) does this mean that Backes is more consistent than Gretzky?
