The good thing about it being a Leafs fan, is it wouldnt feel like sacrificing a season. Haha. The only thing saved, is we wouldn't have to go through the rigmarole of actually having to play the games and costig me $30 bucks a month.
- walshyleafsfan1

i still believe there will be a season..

i just think its premature to assume there will be one before the counter proposal has even been given to the NHL/owners

once we see how far or how close they are, that will be the time to start making projections

I'm dating one now. 38, divorced single mom. Huge rack. Porn star sex. No more babies.

(frank)ing awesome.

- robin_steele264

How huge is a huge rack?

My wife has 32D's and I think there standard issue nowadays.

Edit: and isn't pornstar sex just the women pretending to enjoy it infront of a camera so they can get paid afterwards?

From Cloutier's blog today......

Anyway, I suspect the league will rig the lotto in 2013 like they did in 2005. Which of the league's favorite teams need Nathan MacKinnon the most? Toronto, perhaps? I'll go out on a limb and predict Toronto will mysteriously win the draft lotto if there is a lockout for the entire 2012/2013 season.

From a fkn team that has had the last 3 first round picks this is a "I hate the leafs statement"

If the lottery is the same OBV we get 7.1or watever %of the balls, edmonton gets 4.2 even though they have had the last 3 first rounders....Im sure they beat us out like they did columbus.

Anyways I wanted to discuss this here because I don't want to get riled up and banned over there.

Clouts is totally being a troll by saying this IMO.

- MindFr3eak

clouts is all edmonton

edmonton gets the prize = deserved

anyone else = its rigged and conspiracy

no point in even debating it

Not to mention I don't think Toronto has ever really lucked out at a draft, or with a high pick. If they need to loose 1 game to get a great pick, they Boyd Deveraux will get a (frank)ing hat trick and drop us out of that spot.

well given that negotiations have not even started and camps are a month away, i would agree with Cox who wrote that the first 20 games of the season are already gone. neither side seems interested in negotiating right now. and that's what galls me. every other NA league displays a sense of urgency when it comes to CBA talks--players and owners. the NHL is the only league that doesn't seem to give a poop about a work stoppage.

it's almost like they feel that they're so insignificant in the grand scheme of things in the US that a lockout will go virutally unnoticed and thus fans will come back, and that the fans in Canada will come back because what else are we gonna do in the winter?

Jake Gardiner, Matt Frattin, Jay Rosehill to be on the AHL playoff roster, then Carter Ashton to replace Lupul on the roster after injury.

once again.. everyone is all doom and gloom

nobody mentions the possibility that fehr might come back with something close to the owners proposal.. with tweaks of course

everyone is under the assumption that the players and fehr are going to come back with something drastically different... there is no guarantee of that... possible yes.. certainty.. no.

It's just that Bettman is a 3 time loser and 2 league loser...... He drops an ultimatum all the while the hockey world knows he is dying for a strike until christmas to pull the floundering teams out of the red this season.

This is going to take some Fehr magic, big time.... I have faith myself, I just hope I meet bettman on the street one day standing beside a large polio infested puddle driving by in my truck

In the history of the NHL Entry draft Toronto has drafted 1st, once in 1985. McKinnon will go 1st in 2013, what are the odds the Leafs will get that pick. How many teams will be worse?

30-CLB - Not sure if better or worse.
29-EDM - Better
28MTL - Better
27-NYI - Neutral
26-TOR - Neutral
25-ANA - Neutral
24-MIN - Way Better
23-CAR - Way Better

Kadri replaced an injured player (emergency call up) and that player came back, so they had to send him down, no choice. But they used up the 4 callups, so he couldnt come back.
