Such origionality here. I can't state it better than that! You deserve a reward for literary merit. You are a hero to me. I could never have reasoned out the complexity of that statement. The logic, the passion. I can't say enough about it. I'll forward it to all of my friends and family for their thorough evaluation. When is the sequel? Will you be signing copies of it, at the nearest Chapters? Will you take it on tour, overseas? They will embrace you in Europe and parts of the Northern U.S. with such literary prowess. Move over Mark Twain.....the King is dead, long live the King!

Ooohhhh......a spelling Nazi......even better......you are a writer......actually I'm bored. There is absolutely nothing going on, the last few days on here. Maybe some fun aggravating people is the only entertainment value these days. I really hate the collective bargaining crap going on. I remember the last one and when I worked, I'd listen to Leafs Lunch, on AM640 in Toronto. They'd do everything to keep hockeytalk alive, but they'd just stretch it to adnausium. It's getting close to that point on here. Recycled news, views and rumours. When they start WHA rumours, I'm outta here.

You're crazy if you think the players will come out on top of any CBA deal... Bettman is going for the hat trick...

Then I've come to the right spot? Also, Bettman is about to get mounted, the players didn't hire Fehr to lose.

Mounted. They will lose in the media and with the fans, that will be the start of NHL Spring. Since the American teams owners really don't give a (frank) about the season until the NFL is over, this will be another long lockout. Whilst old Gary and the owners got their hard cap last round it certainly didn't change a (frank)ing thing, salaries are still (frank)ed and so are the contracts those same owners spent 10 years trying to find creative ways to circumvent. Players and the media alike will wear this mother(frank)er out... They will win the war in the media first, then the fans jump on board, the lockout drags on, we lose the year anyways, and it ends up back to even by the time the CBA is signed by both sides late next summer. Hopefully a few teams go under, 5 or so be nice to see gone. And the only good things that comes from it all is ELC's will be 5 years now instead of 3 and Bettman gets canned. Book it...

WOW! If this is how dead that it is right now, can you imagine if there is a lockout this fall? I can just see it. Everyone into the Julie Robenhymer thread to debate College Hockey.......not.

It's all about typical human (frank)ing greed. Owners and players alike. Bettman is the head of the snake, and we know that old adage. There used to be pride in playing for a certain organization, now it's the almighty dollar. Players sign long term contracts for HUGE amounts of money, apparently looking to "secure' their futures (willingly offered by the owners). What a crock of crap. If your future isn't secure after making 3-5 million a year for 5 or 10 years, then you need your head read, and you shouldn't have it In the first place. All of these players know It's a crap shoot and a long haul to win a Stanley Cup, so I don't buy that "going to a contender" crap argument either. Get on a hot streak with a hot goalie, and ANY team could go all the way. This Is our money, yours and mine, the fans. Yet we have to put up with this political posturing BS with the CBA. I've stopped going to games, cancelled my NHL package, and continue to be a fan of MMA, where REAL men play to win first, payday second, and no other reason. I've been watching pro hockey for 35 years, and greed Is what Is killing pro hockey. It started with Bettman. It should end with him.

I hope the NHLPA sticks It up their "collective" arses.
