Yea. A bunch of Avs guys on Twitter were actually surprised at how little he got and said Colorado offered him more.

There was some talk that he was one of the few guys who actually just wanted to play in TO. Similar to Torres who went to Toronto on July 1st the year we signed Mac. He was willing to play cheap. Burke wasn't interested apparently.

Happens so little for us though guys who actually want to be Leafs.

Well that's what happens when you are crap for so long.

Never use to be the case.

Not a chance.
Kadri will make the team.
Colborne will be a good 3rd liner.

- Fakepartofme

Exactly my point, I see Colborne as a future solid 3rd line center yet he's not part of the discussion.

Colborne will play in the NHL and be effective in his role. I just don't get why people aren't talking about the possibility of him playing on the Leafs third line but Bozak/Kadri/Connololy is an option?

Kadri will never have a role in the NHL as he can't play botton 6 and doesn't have the tools to produce in the top 6.

They offered him more money than he's getting in Toronto.

for starters its not MY opinion, its Burkes

While general manager Brian Burke expects McClement to have a solid hold on the third-line centre spot when training camp ends in the fall, it’s in the area of penalty killing that McClement wants to make an impact. - in the sun the day after he was signed

so yes.. i am referencing an actual statement and article.... not just expressing opinion

that is what i was trying to say.. and you guys jumped all over it trying to knock it down. so yeah.. i got rude.

- Dozzer

yeah, mcclement will probably be the third line centre, thats why he was signed....that doesn't mean as a fan I have to like it or agree with it.
He hits seldomly, doesnt fight, isn't big or mean or tenacious....he is a mediocre player.
At least Bozak has some skill to his game.

Torres would have been a lot better of a pickup than say Armstrong...ugh.

I like when we have players who want to play for TO, Frattin is one if im not mistaken.

They were talking numbers around 2.5-2.75. Typical numbers for a 3C who doesn't add much offense.

all i ever see is msgs from you about Colborne, did u see him play last year? he was hurt a good chunk and he wasnt nearly as good last year as expected. He needs at least another year in the AHL to polish up his skills...

Kadri IMO still has more offensive skills. time will tell i guess.

I agree that Kadri has more offensive skills and you're probably right about Colborne this year since he got injured.

I am glad to see that Kadri seems to feel Wilson was his problem.

One day maybe he grows the (frank) up. It probably won't be soon enough to do anything with the Leafs though.

Kadri better ppg in the NHL the Brayden schenn and schenns been giving more of a chance then kadri, so I wouldn't say he doesn't have the skills to produce

A) There's no room for another 3rd liner.
B) Colborne hasn't earned a spot in the NHL.
C) Kadri has all the talent to be a top 6...he just needed the drive and a slight attitude adjustment...not sure why you hate on him so much.
