Not watching the game but that sure doesn't sound like the Hamilton I know.

He's not the fastest i'll give you that but he's usually very reliable, doesn't make mistakes, a booming shot and hits like a ton of bricks.

Was he on the ice for the 3 goals or something?

- Scabeh

I thought he was better with all the hype but his skating is very suspect, still a good prospect for the Bruins though.

So really, if they wanted to. Every player on the Leafs could play on the Marlies if a lockout were to happen?
- jbold

That would piss off the NHLPA and the owners, who would be giving away top level talent for farm system prices

Being OHL or CHL defenseman of the year I thought he was much more fluent in his skating, more polished, he looks awkward and clumsy, I thought I saw it when I watched the WJC and now it confirms it.
- LeafMan

I guess we see it a lot where some players look elite because they are a big fish in a small pond, so to speak. There are a lot of CHL players who won't see the pro-level when they finish there. Once they get to the next level, where ALL players can play to a different level, they tend to fall back to the pack.

According to hockeynews I believe he is rated 4th overall in the top 50 prospects.

Are implying Hamilton won't make the NHL? Or that he might not be elite talent?

Interesting.

I disagree because I see alot more upside in Hamilton but we'll see how it turns out.

What IS going on with Franson anyway? The guy always looked like a decent guy with some potential... is he even a regular with the leafs?

He may very well be a good NHL player, I see his skating as being his weakness, I think NHL'ers will expose him to the outside.

He has plenty of time to improve that.
The Bruins have no reason to rush him yet.
