So, since the owners can't help themselves and agree to pay the players these salaries, the owners need the players to give up more privileges to protect the billionaire owners?

Last I checked, the players are not showing up at the Wells Fargo Center with a gun and holding it to Ed Snider's head as he signs a check.

ok i forked out hundreds of millions of dollar to buy a team
i pay employees to work there, therefore i'm the job creator
with out me x player doesn't have a job
why should he take a good share of the money i earn through my investment?

i don't get revenue sharing in my current job how is this any different?

I think he argues the flawed argument for the hell of it. That is my honest observation after almost a year of enjoying this board.

i'm saying the players shouldn't have these privileges any way
there's a saying the party comes to an end at some point
players got to enjoy revenue sharing as a privilege from the owners

u don't like receiving revenue sharing? Is that right?

as for the first paragraph of this post, I can see and understand where you are coming from, but its not so simple. Yes the owners create the opportunity, but the players take that opportunity and go for an all out trip across the galaxy with it. Without the players maximizing that opportunity the owners wouldn't reap half the reward if they invested equally somewhere else, just my opinion of course.

revenue sharing is a privilege i'd love to get it but all you're guaranteed is your salary nothing more

the players are just the peons if they want to get pissy about revenue sharing i'm sure they players can go find another job

oh stop Actually I come here because going to a bar is overatted and expensive. I can sit here and get the same entertainment for a fraction of the price, the trade off is carpal tunnel.

I don't see why both the owners and players can't come to an agreement.
