There is absolutely nothing going in the world of hockey right now. GM's are at best just locking up young talent to decent deals for the future.
There will be no moving of players until teams get a better idea of what the cap will be for next season.
These rumors are ridiculous.
FYI the fylers have no cap space. all this talk about injured pronger, mezaros on the long term injury means nothing.
If the players and the owners agree to share all HRR 50-50 (which will be the case) then the cap comes down 10 MILLION. 60 mill is the max at best, if not lower.
All the teams spending like crazy are screwed if the players don't take a roll-back.
Good day. |

the cap is already set for 70 million this coming season. it the years after this one that will put teams in cap trouble. |

It's not set for the whole season...it's set for now until the new CBA comes into effect. The cap for the upcoming season will likely be completely different if there's any reduction in the player's share of revenues. |

Scott was on the rags last year. Looks like he can barely play.
If you wanna stick him out there just to pummel someone you ought
To do it as they are facing off to avoid him having to actually
Play a shift. Oddly enough he seems to be a likable fellow
Though. - BobbySchmautz
Scott was worth a 5th round draft pick to the Rangers last year.
He is worth $600,000 this year to the Sabres to play a handful of games. |

It's gonna be sad/great depending which side of the fence you're on when teams bombard Lowe w/ offer-sheets and truly frank up your salary cap because he'll be forced to match.
I would love if Darcy repaid Lowe for the Vanek offer-sheet. You guys better hope your D-prospects can play soon because your money will be all tied up front. Again. - dacks
you better sign eberle and hall before next july and rnh before the july after. |

These two teams probably aren't even talking about a trade making all these pages of comments another huge waste of time lol.
Sanity dictates that if Edmonton were willing to move one of RNH or Eberle, which, they aren't, there's teams with better players to do business with than Buffalo.
If those guys were available every other team would be interested. There's much better d men to be had than Sekera or Regehr if RNH or Eberle were on the table. - Kent44

No. he's just an idiot like the legions of others that assume the Weber offer sheet opens some magical doors, never stopping to think that any offer sheet for those guys will be matched. |
