He didn't compare anything though. He said he hopes for something. I hope that the Rangers lose all 82 games this season. It won't happen but I can hope for it.

Why would a pens fan be hopeful that the rangers were a great team? He said he hopes they play only offensively and with no heart. Also right after that he states Tort's is to good of a coach to allow that to happen. And either get less fat fingers or get off your Iphone and on to a regular computer.

I just assumed literacy rates in Atl were to blame.

If you're going to pull out the dictionary use it to find the difference between there and their champ.

So, should we all have a prediction of when we think the season will start? Akane is out of the prediction because he is to pessimistic.

Ok. I try not hide it too much.

If anything he insinuated that he hopes that the Rangers abandon this shot blocking defense first mentality that works for them for a more open, less defensive approach which provides chances for other teams. He didn't predict, state, observe, or demand.

As another poster pointed out, he also states (notice the difference) that Torts is too good of a coach to let that happen.

You think he's coming back? I think he's as good as retired at this point.

I like your optimism. If the camps get cut short you think they will still start the season on time?

He is still having problems to the point that driving is a problem. If he is still having those kind of symptoms I can't see him returning anytime this season.

Agreed. I don't think we'll see him in game action again but that's just my opinion. He has alot of life left, he should just focus on that.

I hope that they do as well, but finish behind Crosby, Malkin, Eberle, Stamkos, Hall, St. Louis in scoring.

I wish that the NHL would go back to when 15 players broke 100 points and there were 8-10 50 goal scorers.

Agreed. It's not looking likely, but I think cooler heads will prevail. Hockey can't afford to drag this into a lockout.

To bad. He was a hell of a player. Great vision defensively. Hated his elbows though.

His positioning was second to none (except Lidstrom). He wasn't the greatest skater but was never out of position. Combine that with his puck skills and tenacity and you have a generational talent
