I would think that would make him easier to move. He's already been paid out so much he's more valuable to teams that are looking to hit the cap floor but keep their actual salaries low. He'd be a good fit for teams like the Isles, Yotes, and Avs.

Eberle is terrific and only going to get better. He has the clutch gene as well. Corey Perry is #1 on my list of hand picked wingers I would want my team to acquire, Eberle might be #2.

I don't find it too unrealistic. I think we either do your plan or we trade Luke Adam & Sekera to EDM for Gagner, sign Ennis and trade him along with Stafford for Ryan. Gagner replaces Ennis, Ryan replaces Stafford. Hell, Pommer and Ryan could switch, IDK. So many different possibilities that will probably never come true.
