Am I the only one who'd prefer eberle to rnh? I think this kids gonna be a top five player in the league very soon. Id give anyone on our team up for him. With edmontons forward depth do you think myers for eberle would be enough?

But, I think if some truth comes from these talks, were all going to be a bit disappointed. I dont see any type of deal bringing the likes of him/Hall/RNH here. I think itll likely be a Gagner/MPS for Sekera/Leo type trade

I think the guy we are after is Sam Gagner if we're talking to EDM, but I would love Hall,Eberle,Nugent-Hopkins,Paajarvi,Gagner,Omark their young talent there is unreal.

Myers just got a 10m signing bonus! I'm also pretty sure he has a NTC. I'm just as anxious for a signature move as anybody, but let's get a grip people.

Eberle is tons of fun to watch. Very creative. Great vision. I would love to see him on this team.

The only reason I would want to see Myers for Eberle is because it might be the final nail in the coffin for Darcy. Terrible trade. Myers is worth much more than Eberle at this point, and hopefully for the long haul

Terrible trade? Really? You might not agree with it but its far from a terrible trade if we could get one of the best young proven forwards in the nhl right now. Yea wed be giving up a big piece of our team but wed be getting just as big a piece in return. A lot of people on this board are for trading myers for getzlaf, who is 5 years older than eberle and hasn't cracked 20 goals in three years, not to mention the fact eberle had more points than him in four less games. I really don't understand how getting him on our team, in any fashion, would constitute a terrible trade. IMO, myers, miller, ehrhoff, vanek, any of them are worth giving up for this kid.

I agree there is no way the sabres organization is willing to move Myers. I personally would for the right deal but I don't think they would.

I don't think they'll move him. I bet he's one of their untouchables. Regier has had a few things he could have done, but won't because he said they would mess up team chemistry. That tells me there are a few guys on the list that they refuse to move. I'm sure Myers is at the top of it.

Eberle is terrific and only going to get better. He has the clutch gene as well. Corey Perry is #1 on my list of hand picked wingers I would want my team to acquire, Eberle might be #2.
