I just do not see anything we would gain from adding Gagner to our front 6..

I would take Hodge, Ennis, Grigorenko, Girgensons, or Ott all at center before Gagner.

You do realize that over the last 3 years Myers has 29G's 79A's 108P's compared to Gagner having 48G's 82A's 130P's

I posted twice in the last 10 days of Gagner to Buffalo. Not saying I like him but he would be ok as a 3rd line center. I think he plays bigger than his size and the criticism towards players like him and Hemsky have to look at the Oilers as a team the last few years.

We've built 2 new stadiums in the last 20 years and there is almost nothing going on around them that wasn't there already. Bring 70k people downtown 8 days a year doesn't justify spending hundreds of millions of dollars that we don't have.

I'll offer 1 comparable city, Pittsburgh. We are behind them in terms of redevelopment but they are great case of utilizing their remaining strengths, having a plan and executing it. Buffalo needs that cornerstone project to boost the interest in down town.

Steelers share their stadium, Buffalo does not, but could if it were closer to UB
They have a nice river walk/harbor area. Buffalo is develping theirs.

It's hard to envision a scenario whereas Edm and Buff are trade partners but to play a long a bit a move of Sekera and Pysyk for Gagner and Hartikanen or possibly Paajarvi. The Oilers have a number of young centers so I could see some type of move. Anybody that thinks Grigs or Myers would be moved is insane.

So when is the next Sabres news ?

Rico: You have to read before you react to what he says. Sometimes he will say "me and my tsn buddy's were shooting the **** and think ____". Other times he says "rumors around tsn".

And sometimes people don't read and him saying "well we we're just joking around when he brought this up".

He has good stuff when he says "rumors around tsn" and I'm pretty sure he talked about this trade idea.
