For one it doesn't have to cost a Billion. Two, a retractable roof stadium could be also used a civic center for larger concerts and other type of events. Three, it is right near the peace bridge. Canadians come here in droves, spend tons of cash and don't mind waiting in bridge traffic for some reason. #Untappedresource

but being someone who wrks at the Galleria,
i can tell you that Canadians come down here like crazy to shop
i'd bet MANY would at least stop & check out the new shopping places... and maybe stay over in a "new" hotel instead of going back to canada that night

i still cant believe that after some 10 plus years buffalo did not build another bridge to canada. i think this stadium could be a good thing. my only complaint would be that orchard park was built up, rather well, to handle the traffic. imagine some 80,000 people leaving the city

Every time I've been to Buffalo in the winter (which is several times), my impression has been:

- incredibly cold and windy in the downtown core
- completely desolate. There's no one there.
- quite a bit of snow.

Problem is, like any visitor, you probably don't know where the place to be is. Hertel, Elmwood stuff like that. Not, chieppewa, not outside the hockey arena on an off night. There is not one night of the year Elmwood and Hertel aren't jumping. Ever.

I got stuck on that damn bridge last year. I think it was almost an hour and it was like 2 in the afternoon. Since I rarely use the bridge, is it pretty much packed all day long? Do not drink a lot of liquid before crossing that bridge!

They wanted to buy all the land(projects) from porter to that 1st on off ramp as you come off of the circle from the sky way. They wanted to put in 3 hotels and 4 five star restaurants along with a truck depot. Like I said buffalo told eat a Richard.

Confused on how noone (Bills camp, local sports stations) has any idea of what it could possibly be. Can't imagine he would come out and say something about a new stadium without the Bills knowledge.
