They haven't really gotten any better. Dennis Wideman and Jiri Hudler will do little to help them get highter in the standings imo. Their core group is just getting older.

I'd obviously take Fleury 7 days a week over Bryz. But he IS the most overrated goalie in the league. Tell me one goalie who is more overrated, other than Luongo. When you look at his numbers lately, they are mid pack in every category. I'd take 10 goalies over him right now. In fact, I don't think he makes Tam Canada for the Olympics. Price, Ward and Luongo will. Any bets on that?

Most overrated award can go to a couple people. Anti Neimi comes to mind. Why do you think the pens went out and got vokun? To give Marc a break. He was worn out come playoffs. He was also a big part in the pens winning the cup, so if you start him less this year, and give him some time off he should be fine. You also have to look at the players in front of him, namely the Defense. That's what killed the pens.

Flames won't drop to 70 pts but I see other teams, who have improved, finishing higher in the standings. I can possibly see them climbing to 13th or even 12th, but no higher.

exactly, and its been confirmed...Jhon Shannon said at the draft 2 GMs told him they would have picked Jankowski in the first round had the Flames not taken him. 2 Picks later the Blues took a guy "ranked in the 2nd round" I guess they don't know what they are doing either. Go look at past drafts and all the guys that were ranked high...half of them don't do poop. All I'm saying is you cant judge a draft a month later.
