Coburn played 27 plus minutes a night in the playoffs last year and dominated against the Pens playing 3 games over 29 minutes.

The pairing of Coburn and Grossman was and is their best pairing as it would be on a lot teams.

They paired them against the Malkin line and we know how that worked out till the Pens headhunted Grossman.

Not that the Flyers do not need to change their d mix, but we have plenty of 4 through 6 dmen.

Why would anyone want Thornton? The dude is old and sucks in the playoffs. I rather have Grigorenko and Ennis.

Thornton has taken 248 playoff shots on goal(114 games) and scored 20 goals(8%), he's never gotten over 3 goals in a playoff year. He only gets points in a teams loss, he is the guy who gets a few 3rd period assists in a game where his team lost 7-3. What has he ever done? Nothing and he's been on teams loaded with talent.

Well, the bolded part is basically true. Under the new rules, if the Bills were to adopt them, none of the four of last season's blacked out games would have been on television. Buffalo is a hit or miss market. More often than not, either the game sells out, or it doesn't even come close. They rarely go down to the wire.

He played 3 regular season games that year, hardly the reson they were in the playoffs or won the cup. 1 has had the benefit of being on a playoff team every season he has started a game. Put Ryan Miller on the Hawks they still win that cup.
