The infection had nothing to do with him being fat, despite him being fat.

He had surgery to repair a torn Achilles.. its gonna be much longer than a two month recovery. That ruptured sac behind the tendon is known as a bursa.

I dont think there is a single person who will disagree with that.

BUT, saying that Schenn cant play a bigger role in Philly is laughable. Also, dont over look what playing with his best friend/ brother can do for him mentally and in confidence.

Its not leafable at all. Having a guy go from a place where he was unhappy and on bad terms with the captain, to a team full of familiar guys and friends (and his brother) will certainly make it a bit easier and more fun for him... which in turn could absolutely have a positive impact on his confidence.

Absolutely. Depending on severity he could be out for the season. Travis Zajac suffered a partial tear, and was out 6+ months.

Jason Peters from the Eagles suffered a torn achillies like 6 weeks ago, and he's already been declared out for the season.

Plan on Meszaros to be out for the season.
