If Rozsival's knee isn't destroyed then I would give him the call. Just don't sign him for the insane money he has received in the past and all is well. 1 yr 3M-4M, if healthy.

Homer is trading from a real position of weakness. Other GMs have to smell the blood in the water.

Coburn/Grossmann
Timmonen/Schenn
Rozsival/Gervais

Or some combination of that. Problem is even with that Timmonen needs to have his minutes down this year IMHO.

If his knee isn't shot, sure. I'd be more interested in Vishnovsky.

have we traded for every dman in the league yet, and are we done arguing about it?

is that even a possibility? I know this is a fantasy trade rumor site and all but can we stay somewhat in the realm of reality? if not oh well

Perhaps Brett Clark on a 1 year deal.

Really? What does Clark bring that we need? At least Rozy played 2nd pairing, has R handed shot, and while slowing down and softish can do most things adequately. If he isn't broken.

Vishnovsky would have been an obvious choice but I'm not sure he is available. Calio is also fair game IMHO.

Roszival, ew, you've got to be kidding me. Let MAB and Gusty grow. Use Lilja as an anchor from time to time buffered with Gervais. No reason to panic. When Thanksgiving rolls around and the Flyers are in the basement - then Holmgren can panic.

Just a quick search says he is a puck mover and he's healthy but not many good options period out there.

I'd rather give the kids a chance then give up picks or prospects for a stop gap like Vishnovsky who is only signed for 1 year.

Colaiacovo has an injury history but if he'd go 1 year it might be worth a listen

Yeah, not interested in any stop gaps. Kubina cost us a 2nd. A 2nd!

If we can bring in a puck mover FA on the cheap I'm ears otherwise, this gut-check time for the fanbase imo.

May have no choice, most if not all trades will likely involve overpayment big time.

Vishnovsky cost the Islanders a 2nd so it would be the same price. I'd rather go for a lesser free agent for 1 year and give up nothing or just go with the kids and finally see what they can do.

yea I'm done with that, it hasn't worked in almost 40 years, time to do something different. Hang in there ride it out. The panic move operating procedure needs to be scrapped.
