I don't give a s**t that they let Trivino walk (if they ultimately do). The organization doesn't need a kid like that. The perception of the team is bad enough as it is. Better to not make it worse by signing an admitted groper of women.

What's worse, trivino "assaulting" someone, or cizikas actually murdering someone? Thoughts?

Way off, man. Cizikas didn't "murder" anyone. THat's a strong word. Someone that Cizikas was playing rugby against died during the match after being involved physically, during play, with Cizikas. Its not even close to "murder". Trivino (apparently in a drunken state) made a conscious decision to pursue a woman, forced his way into her room, and groped her. Trivino had intent, Cizikas didn't.

Ok, my bad for not remembering all the details involved with Trivino.

BUT.....It doesn't negate the point I made in the "trend" of Garth letting other players/prospects get away. We beat this topic into pulp at the end of season and when FA began 7/1 but he said he would use assets to improve the team. If you let assets walk away/opt out of contract rights, you're asleep at the wheel and maybe the next guy to walk would have been useful in a trade/transaction.

doesnt look like the preseason game at barclays is doing very well...i just checked ticketmaster...was able to get 6 tickets side by side 20 rows off the blue line.

Improving your team has been proven to generate excitement which also has been proven to increase interest which also has been proven to increase ticket sales which has also been proven to lift the players spirit which has been proven to result in more wins.
