Saw that, but still, Shine has been pretty arrogant to many, including myself and never gave him a reason, very selective person. Too bad,

So apparently you know very little about Edmonton. I agree that Montreal is a beautiful city. Probably second to only Quebec City in Canada. Yes I have been to both, I've been the majority of cities in Canada other than the ones on those silly islands. During the summer Yakupov is probably going to home to Russia. And besides there are hot girls everywhere, especially during the summer where the seem to crawl out of the magic hot girl cave. Montreal gets more snow than Edmonton does, Edmonton does get cold, but it's -40 all that often. I think it hit -40 three times last winter. As for the drinking age being 18, guess which two provinces have 18 as the legal age. If you guess Alberta and Quebec you would be correct. And for a guy who is probably going to be making $3.775M in his first year that the living cost in a city doesn't matter.

Why the (frank) are there so many goddamn mods floating around these threads? If we need a referee at least let's get one of our own, Lahey? Reveen? AMO? Who's up for it?

Looks like Ottawa isn't much better.
If you're trying to say that an English speaking young (or old for that matter) hockey player would have an issue with language, you are really ill-informed.

- hscesq

Agree, Montreal is easy to get by speaking only in English. Quebec city would be another matter(if they had a team), but even then I think an English speaking hockey player playing for a team in Quebec would be given a pass most of the time.

Well all referees are homers and protect their own posters, it's a given. You guys generally do a great job with a few exceptions, but you do have vested interests in your home team. So what good is it to have referees come in from a Montreal/Vancouver/Calgary forum and protect their trolls here while punishing loyal Edmonton fans who just want to comment on their team?
Biggest problem I have is a French Canadian or a Toronto mod showing up here, for years Western Canada has been getting screwed by the East and this is just another example of it. We don't need eastern Canada regulating us anymore, I'm still hoping for the day that we build a big wall across the Saskatchewan/Manitoba border and shoot the first easterner that comes across it. Long live the Western Seperation Party!!!

That's just my opinion of course, I could be wrong.

i ban leaf fans more than any other team's fans

you're argument here is fabricated.. you have no solid evidence to prove otherwise.

Add Manitoba to that list.

Also you might want to check out those cities on those silly little islands, some of them are quite nice. I love St Johns, Charlottetown, and although not on an island, Halifax is very nice as well.

It's well documented so no it's not fabricated.

You should be! You're a Leaf Referee, it's common sense that the majority of the people in the threads you should be moderating are leaf fans, therefore just by ratio you should be banning more leaf fans. Add to that the fact that most leaf fans are butthurt because their team was run by teachers for however long that didn't care about winning, just making as much money as possible. It just makes sense.

oh and....
