I've seen it...definitely understandable, lol
And some of it is bad...
I love, yet hate seeing threads about Luongo now, lol

Lucic is absolutley a power forward. The reason I wouldn't put him as one of the best power forwards is because he lacks skating ability and does not have the scoring touch of a Perry or Ovechkin ect.

Fair points. I but i would certainly put him in the top 5. He is unstoppable at times and has put up 30 goals

I never said once he wasn't a power forward. Just stated the obvious that he isn't near the best. As I said to many weaknesses in his game.

Perry is far better. I expect my power forward to back check, Lucic doesn't know what that even means. I expect my top power forward in the NHL to be a bonafide 1st liner, Lucic is not. I do not expect my top power forward to disappear for 10 game streches, Lucic does. Hell Clarkson is better
- Bieksa#3

Yeah he is a far better point getter over all, he isn't however a powerforward, which is what we are discussing, the position one plays in forward has little to do with them, in fact, being a powerforward. So yes, Perry is a bonafide number one center, still doesn't make him a powerforward.

I believe you are having trouble with understanding the difference between number one center and powerforward, huge difference.

I would say he is the best, it seems as you are having troubles grasping the concept of a powerforward.

Try and find a GM in this league that wouldn't LOVE to have Lucic on their team. You're letting sour grapes from Boston's Cup cloud your judgement.

There's no denying Lucic is a power forward. If not the best, then one of the best in the game currently.

I agree, one thing I will say in Lucic's defence is that if there was a PP late in the 3rd there is probably not another player in the league I would want in front of the net.

edit: maybe Holmstrom.

Find me the post where I said Lucic isn't a power forward? If you can't stop being a troll.

I wonder which is the softest Forward of this list:

Daniel Sedin
Henrik Sedin
Alexander Semin
Olli Jokinen
Mike Ribeiro
Jason Pominville
Jason Spezza
Jeff Carter
Phil Kessel
Scott Gomez
Sidney Crosby
Ilya Kovalchuk
Patrick Kane

It's called adding my opinion. I guess if I'm trolling, then we're all trolls? This is a comments section for opinions, is it not?

Getzlaf no. Being 6'4 doesn't automatically make you a power forward

I have no argument with that. But to suggest Perry isn't a power forward is foolish. Took one state from one season and try to define him. Perry is a beast.

I am going to defend the twins before the onslaught of bashing. The twins do not hit, but they play a down low cycle game and take a TON of punishment in the corners and in front of the net, They don't play physically but they are far from soft.

No, what you tried to do was discredit Lucic for not being a good powerforward because he wasn't a bonafide number one center, that in itself was true brilliance.

You said said there is no denying Lucic is a power forward in response to me saying he isn't the best. You are clearly suggesting I said he is not a power forward. That isn't your opinion. That's you making stuff up and being a troll

He belongs in that list, but he's not the best fighter.

Getzlaf though
