His agent is trying to protect his client, with Kesler's injury history, he's trying to get him to not play and get paid by insurance until he's fully healed. My guess is that the whole thing is moot as the season probably isn't going to start on time anyways and by the time it is, he'll be mostly ready to go.

Since he went under the knife it's been my understanding that Kesler would be out until the the Nov-Dec timeframe, so I really don't see how this news actually qualifies as news. Whether it's November or December, that shouldn't change the Canucks' player acquisition strategy. Sounds like the symptom of a slow off-season to me. |

It seems like China run the show on said obscure events, or Romanians/Russians when it comes to artistic gymnastics.
I still struggle to understand how ping pong or synchronized swimming is an Olympic sport but golf isn't. Not a huge fan of watching golf, but it's undeniably a global (and popular) sport. |
