I don't believe the 1st two qualify as Powerfowards. Unless you are a cabbie in Kane's case.

I was talking about Evander

Ovechkin is clearly the best player on this list but I don't consider him a PWF so I go lucic the guys is just big and nasty and can score down low the kind of player every team wants.
- Genev21

How many more hits before he becomes a Power Forward? Does he need 700? Because his usual 270+ is top in the league.

I got no beef with you Mr. 7'5" 350 lol

Vagabond guy here, all he does is trolling and bullying. I wonder if he's like that if we ever met face to face or he's just internet tough not street tough.

- hooligoon

I bully? You're delusional. Trolling? That's your routine. Do you mean "internet tough" like you? No, I don't threaten people behind an anonymous facade. Street tough? Who knows but I -- but likely more so than you. Not that it matters one bit, but you sound like one of Cherry's dinosaurs.

I honestly doubt he signs before the scheduled start of training camp, he's going to give Jamieson every chance to buy the team before he says enough's enough.

he's got 4 kids, you really think he makes that decision in september when they're supposed to be in school?

They're in Phoenix now, if he waits much longer the question's moot anyways.

He has the hits I just don't think he plays offense like a PWF when I think of a PWF I think of someone who goes and screens the goalie gets deflections and rebounds not someone who skates into the zone with a lot of speed and just let's it rip.

There we go, found it. http://hockey.dobbersport...enpool_last3gamelines.php

Click on the Bruins....sorry but Lucic plays on the first line.

- Hockey_Hoser
alright lets look at this from another angle. Bozak plays on tor 1st line. Does this make him a Bona five #1 calibre center? No it does not. Hell Grabovski is way better. Does this make Bozak better player then Malkin/Richards/Kesler/Pavelski/J Staal/Stastny/O'Reily etc. They are all playing on the 2nd line so Bozak is better? As I stated earlier, just because you play with the first unit doesn't make you a 1st line player and visa versa. Some teams like to spread it out.

Hits as with shots can be a very screwed state. The scorekeeper has a lot to do with both numbers. Not saying Movie doesn't hit, but how both of those stats are scored varies by team/scorekeeper

Jerome Iginla all-time best Power Forward. If it wasn't for Scott Stevens, Eric Lindros would've been 1st. Scott Stevens use to do 200 push-ups every pre-game. So Best Power Defense go to him. Best underachiever power forward goes to Kovalev...

If only he could go score like the hit he gave... He would've been power forward.

Benn? He's not the best now but definitely top 3-5, and I think he could be number 1 this time next year. A lot of hits and fights and can deke his way out of a phone booth. Bloodied iginlas face , one punched E.Johnson and laid down malkin and emediately fought/pooped on Kennedy.
- NoobasaurusRex

Impressive... Can't imagine what kind of position they were in for Benn to pull off that last feat, but talk about "adding insult to injury".

Kovalev and power forward in the same sentence

I'm sorry but my lasting memory of Kovalev is of him getting "slashed" in the playoffs against Boston a couple of years ago and costing the Habs the game. Not one of the players mentioned in this thread would have pulled a horse sh!t move like that.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Kovalev once threw a body check. I get it now.
