My soarce is tsn. Lucic is only a few secs away from 5th most. But what does tsn know.

meh bad source bro sorry those numbers are like considering +/- as an affective stats in valuing a player's defensive ability. And TOI can be skewed depending on your team's special teams on any given night. We need to find out what % of his playing time is spent playing with who...I think that will give us the better indicator of what the first line in Boston is.

Edit: according to THN.com depth chart...Lucic is on the first line. Same with Dobber's depth chart.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Doan has been described as Mr. Loyalty and Mr. Character, so if that holds true he should sign with a contender at a lower price then 30 Mil. If he is looking for one more cash grab before retirement then he will take the 30 mil in Buffalo.

From the begining I seen this as a 3 horse race 75% phx, 24% van, 1% everybody else. He has said family and management are the biggest things. He has a ton of ties to BC.

Is he big enough to be a power forward?

And I believe it was 33 goals.

- Bodhisattva

He's 6"2 I believe.

And fine whatever 33 goals.

He can hit, he backchecks, doesn't really fight.

Still an awesome player and if Landeskog made the list, can't see why Pac didn't but he's not the only forgotten one.

Or you can ask a Bruins fan, who watches their team regularly.

67 points and 136 PM's last season...real pu$$. I think you should challenge him to a fight.
- Hockey_Hoser

He is more of a pest that can score. Most of his points are beacause he plays with really good line mates. Anyone on that list would beat his a$$

Most writer's on THN are a joke. But I wasn't specifying an writer or an article. I was referring to their depth chart which is updated regularly during the season according to line combinations.

I hope that's right. I don't see the Phoenix situation sorting themselves out anytime soon. His ties to BC are huge, all the way down to a personal friendship with Gilman.

- Hockey_Hoser[/quoteas I said your best players don't play on your 1st line in most cases. To say your a 1st liner because you ply with 2 great players isn't true. Look at the hawks. They stickBrunette/Stalberg/Smith etc with Kane and Toes. Hossa and Sharp. Malkin plays behind Crosby, spending the majority of his time on the 2nd line when Sid is fully healthy. Does this make him a 2nd liner.

bad joke...was referring back to the comments about Perry getting his butt kicked by Datsyuk. Haven't seen Hartnell fight much so I will take your word on it.

Hartnell's last fight was started by Crosby and finished by Adams.

Ovechkin is clearly the best player on this list but I don't consider him a PWF so I go lucic the guys is just big and nasty and can score down low the kind of player every team wants.

Pac, Kane, Benn were all close to making the list but I wanted to limit people's choices.

I don't believe the 1st two qualify as Powerfowards. Unless you are a cabbie in Kane's case.

I honestly doubt he signs before the scheduled start of training camp, he's going to give Jamieson every chance to buy the team before he says enough's enough.
