They should keep the name, but I think it'd be cool to be the "Brooklyn Islanders" rather than NY Islanders. Maybe add a shoulder patch with the Brooklyn bridge or something, or design a nice 3rd jersey with that as the logo.

Why would there be no sense in keeping them? If they work out a favorable lease, why wouldn't Wang stick around and earn some money? If Ratner's that gung ho about bringing them in, Wang could probably get some favorable lease terms.
