why?

Cuz. Nobody wants to take over that contract. Happens all the time after the deadline, and it is extremely rare that someone is picked up. They can also pull him back if someone claims him.

Jays could use some pitching, not sure they should give a (frank) about the contract, having an arm at all could put him in their rotation.

They are also checking out interest. But I don't see them trading him. And again, that contract is huge.

We went to "the beer store" in Saguenay last weekend with my friend, employees found an old pack of "Saint Arnould L'Évesque" that was forgotten there 8 years ago...my friend bought the remaining 3-4..apparently the employees tasted 2 and they were pretty good.

The bottle is really nice, I'll try to find a photo

exactly, haven't tasted it yet, my friend said it was "OK but not the best"

EDIT : But for 6$...I would've paid that price just for the empty bottle (it's pretty nice)

But if he clears then he can be traded still.

phillies are fishing for a taker. if any team claims lee for sure he'd be pulled off waivers and they'd try and work out a trade.

i could see the yankees taking a bite. their starting rotation is iffy.
