I had the opportunity to see PK in Jr. live about 6 times during his final season in Belleville. He was easily always the best player on the ice. The limited times that I have seen Beaulieu, that is not the case. Definitely a good prospect that needs to be developed. If he pans out as an equal to PK, even better for the Habs.

You're aware that the past three years, the Saint-John Seadogs were probably the best junior team ever ?

Are you aware that besides Ryan Tesink and Huberdeau, only Jurco(by 23 days) was younger than him on that team?

Are you aware that you are comparing Huberdeau, Galiev, Jurco, Coyle, Phillips, Gauthier with freaking Eric Tangradi, Shawn Lalonde, Bryan Cameron and a bunch of other no-namers and busts?

Much easier for PK to be the best player and stand out on a team like that than for Beaulieu on an all-star team like the Sea Dogs.

Tangradi was picked right before PK and Palushaj, he's clearly better than Huberdeau.

3 100 season point seasons, three 'Q finals, 2 times they won it.

Therefore 2 appearances at the Memorial cup, lost to the eventual cup winner in Shawinigan this year, and won the other year.

They completely steamrolled the competition for 3 years.

And that makes the best ever? Not the 1992-1995 Kamloops Blazers that won 3 titles in 4 years? Or the 1987 and 1988 Medicine Hat Tigers? Or what about the Spitfires who just won back to back titles in like 09 and 10?

On paper, the Sea Dogs are more talented than Kamloops, Medecine Hat and Windsor.

I'm not familiar with all the players and how good they were in junior for Kamloops and the Tigers but Windsor didn't have the talent the Dogs had.

I've never seen a team as stacked as that.

Even though next year's Halifax team could challenge it with the talented forwards they have. Their D is not as good though, but they have a way better goalie in Fucale.

I think Taylor Hall, Adam Henrique and Ryan Ellis are pretty good.

Kamloops, in the later year, had Darcy Tucker, Shane Doan, Hnat Dominechelli, Jarome Iginla, Jason Strudwick, Brad Lukowich and Nolan Baumgartner, from what I've seen.

Is that why didn't win multiple titles?

And really more talented than Kamloops? With Sydor, Neidermayer, Tucker, Nash, Strudwick, Hirsch, Iginla, Dominchelli, Doan, Deuling, Baumgartner, Keller, Maudie, Lukowich, Petruk? (153 regular season wins in the championship years, no S/O's)

Or since you probably aren't familiar with those guys Junior exploits lets look at Windsor. Hall, Henrique, Nemisz, Fowler, Ellis, Kassian, Panik, Loktionov, Wellwood, and Blacker? (107 wins over 2 Championship seasons)

Don't forget, those teams won multiple championships. That means they didn't lose. Does Coyle, Huberdeau and Beaulieu really outclass those teams that won multiple times?

They sure are.

And Watson(who was traded during the year), Fowler, Nemisz and Blacker are pretty good players too.

But they weren't in their prime as junior players all at the same time, like that Sea Dogs team.

Their three first lines up front and on D were all 19 year olds or older, and their starting goalie was an overager.

So why did they only win 1 title if they were the best Junior team ever? Posts? Bad ice? Refs? Gomez?

I'm talking about talent here, because obviously they won less times than these guys.

Kamloops didn't have ALL these guys at once. Same for Windsor.

Blacker wasn't dominant back then, Panik barely even played with Windsor in 2009-2010, getting traded mid-season, Watson played half the year there.
Kassian is a goon.
