Companies are more content with a tower crane operator who's been up for days after spending 3 grand on 8ball after 8ball, but will nail a guy to a cross for having a pinner with a 6 pack after work. It happens all the time, the government needs to hand out stiffer penalties when the companies don't maintain them.

But right now it doesn't matter to them as the clean up cost is a fraction of what it would it cost to properly maintain them.

But a pipeline is still the quickest and safest way to get oil to those that need it.

You have to rememeber the pipelines that break are decades old, and thats decades of not maintianing them until they fail.
