Probably .

But that's exactly what happened in Ontario at the last federal election....

The majority of people either voted for the Liberals or the NPD.... but since the vote against Harper was split in two.... Conservateur passed almost everywhere....

Could very well happen here.

Except that 80% of frenchies hate Charest, which was not the case with Harper in Ontario.

I don't really care about election themes as they are usually cute ideas with no real way to make them happen.

But I do think some of his ideas are well thought of and documented.

-Getting rid of the commissions scolaires
-Better evaluation of the employees of the state and making cuts where cuts are way overdue.

This couldn't happen fast enough imo.

- Scabeh

Those are his main themes, themes he keeps speaking about every chance he gets.

Kadhir will probably win.

I wish he wouldn't but meh, it's not entirely a bad thing if there's someone like him elected....

Y brasse la marde mettons.

- Scabeh

You need some MP's like him. Guys that will question the moves and make you think about it. Too radical to be in power though.

That's subject to change, if he doesn't help the manufactural industry in Ontario more. There's a two-speed economy going on right now in Canada, the Prairies, and the ROC.

Here's what will happen with a lot of my student friends/acquaintances:

Step 1: «CHAREST DEHORS ON VA TE METTRE DEHORS ON VA TOUT FAIRE POUR TEMETTRE DEHORS T'AS JAMAIS VU ÇA»

Step 2: Votes for QS or ON

Step 3: Charest gets reelected because the PQ lost votes to ON and QS

Step 4: OMG LES QUÉBÉCOIS VOUS ÊTES VRAIMENT CONS

- _nay_

really? and you don't think this "anyone but Charest" sentiment might end up putting the PQ in power?

You're aware that before voting for a party or a leader, you're voting for a local candidate? He's the one that will bring money in the riding. Might as well vote for the best candidate.

But most of the electors in Québec vote for the leader, as shown by the last federal election where numerous no-namers were voted in because they were orange.

Not if the left-souverainist vote is splitted between the PQ, the QS and the ON.

Unless they make a coalition, that is.

I'm well aware of it, and I find it very stupid. Everytime I hesitate because I want to vote for a leader but you can end up voting for an idiot MP in the process .

There should be one race for the leadership and one vote for your local rep.

Logically, yes. I'm on that "anyone but Charest" train and will vote for the PQ even if normally it wouldn't be my first choice. A lot of students I've talked to will vote for QS and ON though, and they'll be the first to whine when Charest is reelected.

yeah it was ok, my buddy got a new boat so he took me and dt jr. out for a ride and some fishing on friday afternoon. was my kid's fist time. Little wiener puts his lure in the water and 2 minutes in he gets a nice bite. He didn't know what do do with it so it got away unfortunately but in his mind he caught a monster fish.

weekend was just taking it easy, brother-in-law had a bbq yesterday so jus hing out and had some beers it as nice.
