According to some Canucks fans, Doan will take $3.5M for 3 years on a two-way deal because he wants to "play on a contender" and "play out West."

They made it to the Cup finals 2 years ago. How is that poor post-season play? They have lost the past 3 playoff series to the eventual cup winners and will be a serious contender for the next few years at least.
