A week ago Doans agent said there was no scheduled visit to Vancouver because he knows the city very well and his wife knows it and he knows B.C So why the meeting now?

Ya...getting rid of Kesler for the sake of signing Doan makes perfect sense! That would leave us with ONE legit top six center for the year. I'm sure Doan would be extremely excited about being a one line team.

I get yelled at for that all the time... I probably have 10+ shirts of the Packers, Brewers, Sabres, VTech, Hawaii, Michigan State.. all of my favs..

but I buy some of hte nicer design ones in addition to the t-shirt jerseys and stuff like that.. My wife thinks the "Hockey Beats Cancer" Sabres shirt is nice enough to wear to restaurants

You guys need to ease up ! Garth is at least making an effort to post something . There is little news out there right now . If anything relevant comes up with the Sabres I am sure Garth will post it right away . Fact is it is pretty quiet out there . Darcy is trying to make trades , but to make a trade you need a trading partner and you also do not want to get taken to the cleaners .
As far as following Doan , what else is there to do . Just as many of you would scream if you were not kept up to date on the latest Doan developments . I agree it is getting old and I am not as near as anxious to get Doan as I was before with the price and terms now required . But it is Doan's life , family and career . So I guess he can make the decision that is right for him in his own sweet time .
If you don't want to read the blog then don't . The subject title is listed right on the link , if it does not interest you , do not read it . But at this point all your whining is to just plain tired .

Seriously? Have you even seen Garth's last 50+ blogs? Half of them have been about what Shane Doan is or isn't doing that day and the other half are about captains on other teams that he thinks we should be going after. There is no substance to them, they don't promote conversation and they are annoying. We are only using the blogs as a platform to talk amoung ourselves. Plus we have the right to complain about whatever we want - this is an opinion based forum.

Funny how other quality bloggers can manage to do some insightful writing on topics such as: prospect outlooks and player breakdowns, advanced statistics, contract evaluation, draft evaluation for divisions etc. when news is slow. These guys are dedicated and don't just spew out the same crap multiple times a day like ole Garf.
