why do you say he is a goof? i dont think those are bad deals at all. kaleta's body is getting run to the ground every season so i think he deserves a raise. do you disagree? mccormick is a tough guy that can play a regular shift and after that beating he took last season which broke his orbital bone i would pay him a little bit more. its not like we're paying leino money to these guys.

Seems thery are putting a lot into trying for Doan, I like Doan he's a great guy I talked with him for a while at the NHL awards a couple years ago. I just don't see him putting us over the top to win a cup also, I can't see why he would sign here except for money. You would think he would want a team closer to winning a cup.

I think we have a shot at him honestly with how aggressive supposedly we are pursuing him and having Teppo and Kevyn Adams who have played with him helps a lot too.
